Biopsies
The biopsy is a medical test that helps to detect whether abnormal tissue growth is cancerous. The test is conducted by removing a piece of the infected area and sending it to the laboratory where a microscope is used to detect abnormalities. There is not much preparation needed for a biopsy to occur.
When to go for a dental biopsy?
When you visit your dentist for your routine check-up, an oral cancer screening is completed. If your dentist finds something abnormal, they will recommend you having a Biopsy done.
